Who we are
Compound Growth is a growth marketing business based in Sydney, Australia, operated by Benjamin Myatt-Bocarro (ABN 52 957 535 338). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Compound Growth, and “the site” means compoundgrowth.au.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect through the site, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you send the contact form, we collect your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
Information collected automatically
The site does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it against abuse. We do not use that information to identify you.
Calculators and tools
The calculators in our library run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
Sensitive information
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information) through the site. Please do not include it in your message.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
- To prepare a proposal or a 90-Day Plan if you ask for one.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not add enquiries to a marketing email list. If we ever ask whether you would like to hear from us, we will only send updates if you say yes, and every message will include a way to stop them.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can provide that service:
| Provider | What it does | Where data may be processed |
|---|---|---|
| Formspree | Receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our inbox | United States |
| Google Workspace | Our email and documents | Australia, the United States and other countries where Google operates |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, content delivery and security for the site | Global network, including Australia and the United States |
If you become a client, we may share information with specialists who help deliver your work. They are bound by confidentiality, and we remain responsible to you for their handling of it.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Overseas storage
Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with published security and privacy commitments, and we take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set cookies for analytics, advertising or personalisation, so there is no cookie banner. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical measures to protect the site from abuse.
The “Summarise this site” buttons in the footer open ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity in a new tab with a pre-written question about our site. Those services are run by other companies under their own privacy policies; we do not send them any of your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. If you do not become a client, we delete your enquiry within two years of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as our engagement and our legal and tax obligations require.
Your choices and rights
- Access: ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix anything inaccurate or out of date.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your enquiry, unless we need to keep it by law.
- Anonymity: you can browse the site and use the calculators without telling us who you are. We need your name and email to reply to an enquiry.
Email ben@compoundgrowth.au to make a request. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have similar rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on your request (to answer your enquiry) and our legitimate interest in running the business as the legal bases for processing.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. We use established providers with strong account security, and limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending anything highly sensitive through the form. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Client data
When we work with a client, we often need access to their ad accounts, analytics, CRM or customer lists. That access, and how we handle the client's customer data, is governed by our written agreement with the client, not by this policy. We only use client data to deliver the agreed work.
Changes
We will update this policy if our practices change, for example if we add analytics to the site. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Contact and complaints
Questions, requests or complaints: ben@compoundgrowth.au. We will acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
